St. Vincent’s Medical Center, integrated into the Hartford HealthCare network, is a leading hospital in the region. As the Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator, you will work alongside our Pharmacy leadership to ensure optimal pharmaceutical care and formulary management. You will also be responsible for evaluating drug literature, providing support to the staff pharmacists and clinical specialists, participating in clinical support teams and patient care committees, and coordinating ongoing clinical education for pharmacy staff and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate drug literature to compare and contrast therapeutic regimens and roles for new drugs
• Support staff pharmacists and clinical specialists in providing optimal patient care
• Participate in pharmacy clinical support teams and multidisciplinary patient care committees
• Develop and monitor metrics for the value of pharmacy clinical services
• Contribute to the development of drug regimens, order sets, and protocols
• Coordinate ongoing clinical education for pharmacy staff and caregivers

Qualifications

• Three or more years of health-system pharmacist experience
• One or more years of experience in a pharmacy leadership position or as a clinical pharmacist
• Licensed as a registered Pharmacist in Connecticut or eligible for licensure within 45 days
