Job Responsibilities

As a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) in OR General Surgery, your responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating surgical care while maintaining an aseptic environment
• Ensuring that all required instrumentation, supplies, and equipment are readily available
• Assisting with room turnover between scheduled cases

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:

• Education Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technology program
• Minimum Requirements:
  • CST certification
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1 year of surgical tech or OR work experience
  • Previous surgical technologist experience preferred
  • Manual dexterity
