Responsibilities

As a Certified Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in the operating room by:

• Implementing and monitoring patient care plans
• Coordinating all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care
• Assisting in physician and nursing orders
• Assessing patients' needs and providing individualized care
• Participating in daily interdisciplinary patient rounds
• Developing and revising individualized plans of care
• Engaging in professional growth and development

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

• Certified BLS Provider from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
• Certified Surgical Tech specializing in Surgery from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) preferred
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program
• Experience in a surgical setting preferred
