Responsibilities

As a Certified Surgical Technologist, you will play a crucial role in our team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Implementing and monitoring patient care plans
• Recording and communicating patient condition
• Coordinating all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care
• Carrying out physician and nursing orders
• Assessing and coordinating patient discharge planning
• Other duties as assigned

You will demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide individualized care, assess patients, and identify their physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and age-related needs. Collaborating with the healthcare team, you'll contribute to daily interdisciplinary patient rounds and develop and revise individualized care plans. Additionally, you'll participate in activities for professional growth and development outside of patient care.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:

• Certified BLS Provider credential from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
• Preferred Credential: Certified Surgical Tech specializing in Surgery
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program
• Experience in a surgical environment is preferred
