As a Certified Surgical Technologist in the OR General Surgery department, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse and talented group of healthcare professionals. Your responsibilities will include implementing and monitoring patient care plans, coordinating patient discharge planning, and participating in interdisciplinary patient rounds. Additionally, you will have the chance to engage in professional growth and development activities outside of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans
• Serve as a primary coordinator for well-coordinated patient care
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs
• Delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel
• Participate in daily interdisciplinary patient rounds
• Develop, implement, and revise individualized plans of care

Qualifications

• Certified BLS Provider credentials from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Certified Surgical Tech specializing in Surgery preferred
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program
• Experience in the field is preferred
