Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor patient care plans
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs
- Delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel
- Participate in daily interdisciplinary patient rounds
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized plans of care
- Participate in activities for professional growth and development outside of patient care
Qualifications
- Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
- Certified Surgical Tech specializing in Surgery preferred
- Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program
- Experience in a surgical setting preferred
