Description:

Hartford HealthCare takes pride in providing exceptional care to patients across our network. As a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), you will play a crucial role in the operating room, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, coordinating with the healthcare team, and providing individualized care to patients.

Responsibilities:

• Implements and monitors patient care plans
• Serves as a primary coordinator for well-coordinated patient care
• Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders
• Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel
• Participates in daily interdisciplinary patient rounds
• Develops, implements, and revises individualized plans of care
• Participates in activities for professional growth and development

Qualifications:

• Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
• Preferred Credential: Certified Surgical Tech specializing in Surgery credentialed from NBSTSA
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program
• Experience preferred
