- Job Shift: Shift 1
- Shift Details: 1st Shift (7:00AM- 3:00 PM) with call, weekends, and holidays in rotation

St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport is integrated into the Hartford HealthCare network and is the system’s second-largest hospital. With a 473-bed community teaching hospital, a 76-bed inpatient psychiatric facility in Westport, a large multispecialty provider group, and special needs services for adults and children, St. Vincent’s is committed to providing exceptional patient care and a supportive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor patient care plans
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care
- Record and communicate patient condition as appropriate
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs
- Carry out physician and nursing orders
- Delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel
- Participate in daily interdisciplinary patient rounds
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized plans of care
- Participate in activities for professional growth and development outside of patient care
Qualifications:
- Certified Surgical Tech obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program required
- Experience preferred
