Summary

Hartford HealthCare at Home is looking for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Aides to join our dedicated team. As a CNA or Aide, you will provide personal care, housekeeping assistance, and support to our clients in their homes. This is a part-time position with flexible hours and the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and housekeeping assistance to clients in their homes, following the established care plan.
  • Assist with personal hygiene and grooming tasks.
  • Prepare meals based on clients' nutritional needs.
  • Report changes in client's condition to the care coordinator or supervisor.
  • Perform routine housekeeping and home management duties.
  • Record each client's care on the care plan and submit it in a timely manner.
  • Respond sensitively to the complex needs of terminal clients, including providing end-of-life care.
  • Assist with routine therapy exercises and participate in case conferences as requested.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
  • CNA certificate approved by the Connecticut Department of Public Health and Addiction Services required.
  • Six months of experience as a Home Care Aide/CNA in a home care agency, preferred.
