As a CNA with Hartford HealthCare, you will provide personal care and housekeeping assistance to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. You will follow the established plan of care under the direction of the client care coordinator, ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal hygiene and grooming care to our clients
  • Assist with meals to meet clients' nutritional needs
  • Report any changes in clients' condition to the client care coordinator
  • Perform routine housekeeping and home management duties
  • Document and submit each client's care plan in a timely manner
  • Respond sensitively and compassionately to the complex needs of terminally ill clients
  • Support clients in routine therapy exercises
  • Participate in case conferences as requested

Qualifications

  • Current and valid Certified Nurse's Aide registration with the Connecticut Registry
  • Current and valid driver's license issued by the state of Connecticut
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • 6 months of work experience as a CNA or Home Care Aide after completion of CNA Training Course, preferably in a Home Care Environment
  • Must be able to work one full weekend a month
