Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and housekeeping assistance to clients
• Assist clients with personal hygiene and grooming
• Prepare meals to meet clients' nutritional needs
• Report changes in clients' condition to the care coordinator or supervisor
• Perform routine housekeeping and home management duties
• Record each client's care on the care plan
• Respond sensitively to the multiple, complex needs of clients
• Assist with routine therapy exercises
• Participate in case conferences as requested

Qualifications

• Current and valid Certified Nurse's Aide registration with the Connecticut Registry
• Valid driver's license issued by the state of Connecticut
• Must have reliable transportation
• Minimum 6-month work experience as a CNA or Home Care Aide
• Completion of CNA Training Course
• Availability to work one full weekend per month
