Job Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and housekeeping assistance to our clients
• Assist with personal hygiene and grooming
• Prepare meals for clients' nutritional needs
• Report any changes in clients' condition
• Perform routine housekeeping and home management duties
• Record each client's care on the care plan
• Respond sensitively to the complex needs of a terminal client
• Assist with routine therapy exercises
• Participate in case conferences

Qualifications:

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Licensure/Certification: CNA Certificate approved by the Connecticut Department of Public Health and Addiction Services required
• Experience: Six months experience as a Home Care Aide/CNA in a home care agency, preferred
