Responsibilities

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing personal care and housekeeping assistance to clients
• Assisting with personal hygiene and grooming
• Preparing meals to meet clients' nutritional needs
• Reporting changes in clients' condition to the care coordinator
• Performing routine housekeeping and home management tasks
• Documenting each client's care on the care plan
• Responding sensitively to the multiple, complex needs of terminal clients
• Assisting with routine therapy exercises
• Participating in case conferences as requested

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must have the following qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• CNA certificate approved by the Connecticut Department of Public Health and Addiction Services
• Six months of experience as a Home Care Aide/CNA in a home care agency is preferred
