Job Schedule: Part-time Standard Hours: 8 Job Shift: Shift 1 Shift Details: Saturdays, day or evening 8-hour shift. Three weekends per month.

Job Role

In this role, you will work under the direction of the Crisis Intervention Coordinator and Inpatient Psychiatric Unit Medical Director. Your main responsibilities include the timely evaluation and initial treatment of Emergency Department patients presenting in psychiatric crisis. You will collaborate with Emergency Department staff and on-call Psychiatrists to develop comprehensive care plans that meet the specific needs of each patient. Your dedication to customer satisfaction, patient confidentiality, and sensitivity to age-specific patient needs will be essential.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Social Work
• State of Connecticut licensure required (LCSW)
• One or more years' experience providing crisis intervention services
• Experience with dual diagnosis, children, adolescents, and geriatric populations preferred
