Program Summary
Natchaug Hospital's Joshua Center Programs offer comprehensive behavioral health services for children and adolescents struggling with psychiatric or substance abuse issues. Our services include assessment, therapy, and rehabilitation to help these individuals find their way and participate in their own care and recovery. As a Behavioral Health Clinician in our Child/Adolescent PHP program, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate care to these young individuals.
Responsibilities
As a Behavioral Health Clinician, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting individual, group, and family therapy sessions
- Performing case management services, including assessing and coordinating patient care
- Documenting clinical interventions and maintaining accurate records
- Assisting with administrative duties in the absence of the directors
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- Connecticut licensure required within 2 years of hire
- Experience working with a mental health and/or substance abuse population
- Strong computer proficiency and keyboarding skills
