Position Overview In this role, you will work under the supervision of a Clinician III or Clinical Manager, providing inpatient, outpatient, and community-based care for adolescents with behavioral health and substance use disorders. You will conduct individual, couple, group, and family therapy sessions, develop treatment plans, and advocate for appropriate resources and support for your patients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct client care using evidence-based therapies tailored to each patient's needs
  • Prepare accurate and timely medical documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Assess the psychiatric and psychosocial needs of clients, organize and prioritize care, and advocate for appropriate resources
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to clients and their families
  • Educate clients and their families, referring them to other resources and support groups as needed
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care
  • Participate in team meetings, clinical supervision, and staff education

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
  • Valid CT Licensed Masters of Social Work (LMSW) within 90 days of graduation
  • Experience in assessment, diagnosis, and individual/group therapy
  • Proficiency in computer skills
  • Flexibility with schedule, including evenings, weekends, and travel between sites
