Details:

  • Job Schedule: Full-time
  • Standard Hours: 40
  • Job Shift: Shift 1 (Monday through Friday, 8:30AM to 5:00PM)

Responsibilities:

As a Behavioral Health Clinician at Turning Point, you will:

  • Provide direct client care using individual, couple, group, and family therapy based on each client's unique needs
  • Prepare accurate medical documentation to meet regulatory requirements
  • Assess and plan care by evaluating the psychiatric and psychosocial needs of clients
  • Provide in-home clinical services and crisis intervention
  • Educate clients and families on available resources and support groups
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure integrated healthcare delivery
  • Conduct emergency evaluations for clients in the community as needed
  • Participate in administrative activities and ongoing self-improvement

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
  • Active CT License in Social Work, Professional Counseling, Alcohol & Drug Counselor, or Marital & Family Therapy
  • Minimum of three years of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse population
  • Strong assessment and diagnosis skills
  • Proficiency in using a computer and basic keyboarding skills
