Responsibilities

As a Behavioral Health Clinician, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing direct client care through individual, couple, group, and family therapy specific to each client's needs
• Preparing appropriate medical documentation to meet regulatory requirements
• Assessing and planning care by evaluating the psychiatric and psychosocial needs of clients
• Providing continuous education to clients and their families, referring them to appropriate resources
• Collaborating with internal and external partners across the continuum of care
• Participating in administrative activities, team meetings, and staff education

Requirements

To qualify for this position, you must have:

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a Related Field
• Three years of experience providing direct services to psychiatric patients and substance use population
• Previous experience in assessment, diagnosis, individual/group therapy, and crisis intervention
• Active CT LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or LADC license
• Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) required for Latino Program
