Hartford HealthCare is seeking a compassionate and experienced Behavioral Health Clinician to join our team. In this role, you will provide inpatient/outpatient and community care for clients and families dealing with mental health and substance use disorders. Responsibilities:

As a Behavioral Health Clinician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing direct client care using individual, couple, group, and family therapy specific to each client's needs
  • Preparing appropriate medical documentation to meet regulatory requirements
  • Assessing and planning care by evaluating the needs of the client and organizing and prioritizing treatment
  • Providing education to clients and their families
  • Collaborating with internal and external partners to deliver integrated healthcare
  • Participating in team meetings and staff education
  • Performing other related duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
  • Three years of experience providing direct services to psychiatric and substance use patients
  • Previous experience in assessment, diagnosis, individual/group therapy, and crisis intervention
  • Active CT LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or LADC license
  • Bilingual (Spanish speaking) required for Latino Program
