Summary:

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Health Clinician to join our team. In this role, you will provide inpatient/outpatient and community care for clients and families across the continuum of care. As a Behavioral Health Clinician at Rushford Center, you will play a crucial role in providing individual, group, and family therapy to clients with behavioral health and substance use disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct client care using individual, couple, group, and family therapy specific to each client’s needs.
  • Prepare appropriate medical documentation to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Assess and plan care based on psychiatric and psychosocial needs of clients.
  • Provide continuous education to clients and refer them to appropriate resources for support.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver integrated healthcare.
  • Participate in administrative activities, team meetings, and staff education.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Three years of experience providing direct services in psychiatric and substance use populations.
  • Previous experience in assessment, diagnosis, individual/group therapy, and crisis intervention.
  • Active CT LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or LADC license.
  • Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) required for Latino Program.
