Our Behavioral Health Services offers a wide range of outpatient treatment programs for adolescents and adults with mental health and dual diagnosis disorders. Job Summary
As a Behavioral Health Clinician II, you will play a vital role in providing counseling services to our patients. Join an interdisciplinary team dedicated to supporting clinicians through regular supervision, clinical team meetings, professional development opportunities, and a commitment to employee well-being and work-life balance. You will have the opportunity to conduct psychiatric evaluations, provide therapy sessions, collaborate with case managers and RNs, and contribute to the growth and development of our department.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, including diagnosis, risk assessments, outcome measure tools and scales, and treatment recommendations
- Provide individual, group, couples, and family therapy sessions
- Collaborate with case managers and RNs to support the therapeutic work
- Participate in clinical team meetings to review cases and interact with colleagues
- Continuously engage in professional development and continuing education opportunities
Requirements
- Connecticut licensure in LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LADC, or Psychologist
- Master's Degree in a mental health-related field
- 2 years of experience providing group therapy in behavioral health settings
- 1 year of related experience working with adults with mental health issues, co-occurring disorders a plus
