About the Role
As a Behavioral Health Clinician II at our Norwalk OP location, you will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide counseling services to patients with mental health and dual diagnosis disorders. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Providing individual, group, couples, and family therapy
- Collaborating with case managers and RNs
- Participating in clinical team meetings and professional development opportunities
- Contributing to the development of treatment plans
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Connecticut licensure in LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LADC, or Psychologist
- Master's Degree in a mental health-related field
- At least 2 years of experience providing group therapy in behavioral health settings
- 1 year of related experience working with adults with mental health issues (co-occurring disorders experience is a plus)
