About Rushford Center
The Rushford Center is a leading provider of addiction and mental health services, serving individuals and families across Connecticut. Our programs include Acute Care and Evaluation, Residential Addiction Treatment, Individual, Group & Family Therapy, Intensive Outpatient Programs, and Community Support. Responsibilities
- Conduct individual, couple, group, and family therapy sessions based on the specific needs of each patient.
- Prepare accurate and thorough documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Assess and plan care for patients by evaluating their psychiatric and psychosocial needs, organizing and prioritizing treatment, and advocating for appropriate resources.
- Provide in-home clinical services and crisis intervention to patients and families both within the Rushford Center system and the community.
- Educate patients and their families about available resources and support groups to facilitate the treatment and recovery process.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure integrated and comprehensive healthcare delivery.
- Perform emergency evaluations for clients in the community as needed.
- Participate in team meetings, clinical supervision, and staff education as directed.
- Continually seek opportunities for professional growth and self-improvement.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of experience providing direct services to psychiatric and substance use populations.
- Previous experience in assessment, diagnosis, individual/group therapy, and crisis intervention.
- Active CT License in Social Work, Professional Counseling, Alcohol & Drug Counselor, Marital & Family Therapy.
