Summary
Hartford HealthCare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Health Clinician to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical role in providing inpatient/outpatient and community care, assessing and coordinating treatment plans, and performing behavioral health and substance use services independently.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide direct client care using individual, couple, group, and family therapy based on treatment plans.
- Prepare accurate medical documentation to meet regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Assess and plan care by evaluating psychiatric and psychosocial needs, organizing and prioritizing treatment.
- Deliver in-home clinical services and crisis intervention to clients and families.
- Educate clients and family members on available resources and support groups.
- Work effectively across programs for clients with mental health and substance use disorders.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to provide integrated healthcare delivery.
- Conduct emergency evaluations if required.
- Participate in team meetings, supervise staff, and engage in ongoing learning and development.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
- Active CT License in Social Work, Professional Counseling, Alcohol & Drug Counselor, Marital & Family Therapy.
- Minimum of three years of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse population.
- Previous experience in assessment, diagnosis, and individual and group therapy.
- Proficient in using a computer and basic keyboarding skills.
