Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care using individual, couple, group, and family therapy specific to each client's needs
• Prepare appropriate medical documentation to meet regulatory requirements
• Assess and plan care by evaluating psychiatric and psychosocial needs of the client
• Provide in-home clinical services and crisis intervention to clients and families
• Educate clients and refer them to appropriate resources for maximum care and recovery
• Work effectively across programs for clients with mental health and substance use disorders
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to provide integrated healthcare delivery
• Conduct Emergency Evaluations for clients in the community if required
• Participate in administrative activities and staff education as assigned

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
• Active CT License in Social Work, Professional Counseling, Alcohol & Drug Counselor, Marital & Family Therapy
• Minimum of three years experience in dealing with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse population
• Previous experience in assessment, diagnosis, and individual and group therapy
• Proficiency in using a computer and basic keyboarding skills
