Responsibilities
- Provide direct client care using individual, couple, group, and family therapy techniques tailored to meet each client's needs.
- Prepare accurate medical documentation to meet regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Assess and plan care by evaluating the psychiatric and psychosocial needs of clients, organizing and prioritizing treatment, and advocating for appropriate resources.
- Educate and refer clients and family members to support groups and other available resources to maximize care and facilitate the recovery or treatment process.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure integrated delivery of healthcare.
- Participate in team meetings, clinical supervision, staff education, and other administrative activities.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
- Three years of experience providing direct services to psychiatric patients and the substance use population
- Previous experience in assessment, diagnosis, individual/group therapy, and crisis intervention
- Active CT LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or LADC license required
- Bilingual (Spanish speaking) required for Latino Program
