Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care using individual, couple, group, and family therapy techniques tailored to meet each client's needs.
• Prepare accurate medical documentation to meet regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Assess and plan care by evaluating the psychiatric and psychosocial needs of clients, organizing and prioritizing treatment, and advocating for appropriate resources.
• Educate and refer clients and family members to support groups and other available resources to maximize care and facilitate the recovery or treatment process.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure integrated delivery of healthcare.
• Participate in team meetings, clinical supervision, staff education, and other administrative activities.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
• Three years of experience providing direct services to psychiatric patients and the substance use population
• Previous experience in assessment, diagnosis, individual/group therapy, and crisis intervention
• Active CT LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or LADC license required
• Bilingual (Spanish speaking) required for Latino Program
