About Journey House

Journey House is a specialized residential treatment facility for adolescent girls with behavioral health needs who have been referred through the juvenile justice system. Our evidence-based treatment modalities, provided in individual, group, and family settings, aim to support the girls in their journey towards recovery. As a Behavioral Health Clinician, you will play a crucial role in providing direct clinical services, case management, documentation, and program coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy to adolescent girls
• Perform case management services
• Oversee day-to-day program operations and staff in the absence of the Director
• Complete extensive documentation and case coordination
• Assist with discharge planning and aftercare coordination

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a behavioral health-related field
• Connecticut licensure required within 2 years of hire
• Experience working with a mental health and/or chemical dependency population
• LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or Psychologist preferred
• Valid driver's license based on program requirements
• Computer proficiency and keyboarding skills
