Our programs include inpatient and outpatient behavioral health, residential treatment, geriatric services, day treatment schools, and chemical dependency services. At Natchaug Hospital, we are dedicated to helping people find their way to recovery and empowering individuals to participate in their own care.
About Journey House
Journey House is a specialized residential treatment facility for adolescent girls with behavioral health needs who have been referred through the juvenile justice system. Our evidence-based treatment modalities, provided in individual, group, and family settings, aim to support the girls in their journey towards recovery. As a Behavioral Health Clinician, you will play a crucial role in providing direct clinical services, case management, documentation, and program coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy to adolescent girls
- Perform case management services
- Oversee day-to-day program operations and staff in the absence of the Director
- Complete extensive documentation and case coordination
- Assist with discharge planning and aftercare coordination
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a behavioral health-related field
- Connecticut licensure required within 2 years of hire
- Experience working with a mental health and/or chemical dependency population
- LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or Psychologist preferred
- Valid driver's license based on program requirements
- Computer proficiency and keyboarding skills
