Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring the overall patient flow and quality of care
• Assign patient care activities, ensuring that staff are qualified and competent
• Support and mentor team members, fostering their professional growth
• Facilitate challenging situations and ensure the highest level of patient safety
• Monitor and develop staff performance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience
• Charge or supervisory experience
• Current ACLS certification or completion within 3 months of employment
• PALS certification required within 6 months of employment
• TNCC and ENPC certifications encouraged
• Current Connecticut Registered Nurse license
