As an Assistant Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall patient flow, assigning patient care activities, and ensuring that staff members are qualified and trained to provide excellent care. Additionally, you will support and mentor the nursing team, facilitate challenging situations, and monitor staff performance. Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and serve as a role model for Registered Nurses and staff
• Ensure overall patient flow and assign patient care activities
• Support and mentor nursing team members
• Facilitate challenging situations
• Monitor and develop staff performance

Requirements

• Bachelor's of Science in Nursing required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience
• Charge or supervisory experience
• Currently certified in ACLS
• PALS certification required within 6 months of employment
• TNCC and ENPC encouraged
• Current Connecticut Registered Nurse license
