Summary

Harman International Industries, Inc. is seeking an experienced eCommerce Lead to manage the e-commerce sales and digital marketing platforms of our audio products in the Australia and New Zealand markets. You will work closely with our internal and distributor teams to execute online sales and marketing activities. This role reports to the National Sales Manager with a dotted line to the Senior Marketing and Communications Manager.

Details

Responsibilities

  • Merchandise the AU/NZ store with current product offerings and manage on-site promotions throughout the year.
  • Develop and execute online merchandising and digital marketing strategies, including sales during key retail and calendar sale events.
  • Lead strategy with the local Digital Agency across paid campaigns and SEO to provide the best consumer experience and achieve campaign or yearly KPIs.
  • Optimize conversion rate through online activities/campaigns such as A/B testing, customer journey analysis, copy optimization, online surveys, cart abandonment analysis, and consumer segmentation.
  • Plan and execute online marketing strategies in collaboration with the Regional E-Commerce team and local marketing team, with a focus on both paid (digital and social) and organic strategies.
  • Provide ongoing sales reporting and analysis, focusing on ROI, conversion rate, and other marketing KPIs.
  • Manage and grow the customer database through acquisition campaigns, brand partnerships, innovative strategies, newsletter subscriptions, and warranty registration.
  • Identify and manage affiliate opportunities and activities to increase sales on HARMAN websites.
  • Plan and create new customer journeys using data-driven decision making on a new CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the global Harman E-Commerce team on global rollouts of new systems and site upgrades.
  • Handle back-end customer service escalations related to purchases, warranty enquiries, delivery, website issues, and payments to maintain high NPS scores.
  • Manage communication between cross-functional teams and third parties to meet deliverables.
  • Work closely with the Amazon Key Account Manager to manage Amazon advertising strategy and optimize advertising assets and performance across the site.
  • Enhance JBL's online visibility on retail websites to assist with the conversion of JBL products.
  • Collaborate with Harman demand planners for monthly forecasting and inventory management to ensure steady stock availability for the E-Commerce platform.
  • Manage all B2B orders and inquiries received from various sources, including pricing and order placement.
  • Manage the Harman Refurbishment program in collaboration with QSL and demand planners to promote and sell refurb stock via eBay and Harman websites.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, E-Commerce, Digital, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a related role or field.
  • Knowledge of Sales Force Commerce Cloud or a similar CMS system.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Nice to Have

  • Experience in managing and successfully growing e-commerce stores.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience using Google Analytics 4.
  • Strong project management skills, including conceptualization, driving alignment, planning resources, managing deadlines, and objectives.
  • Experience in Consumer Electronics or FMCG industries.
