Valet Living is seeking a reliable Trash Collector to join our team as an Apartment Trash Collector (Service Valet). This part-time position offers flexible evening hours and provides the opportunity to work in your local area. Details

As a Trash Collector, you will be responsible for the following:

• Using your own open-bed pickup truck or vehicle with a trailer to transport trash bags collected from residents' doorsteps to the onsite trash compactor at the apartment community.
• Taking required photos using our company's App during service, including arrival, departure, tracking, and non-compliance.
• Working in close proximity to home, as we serve multiple apartment communities and aim to assign you to a property within a 10-15 minute drive.

Requirements

To qualify for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
• Own a reliable open-bed pickup truck or vehicle with a trailer.
• Have a valid driver's license and current auto insurance in your name (or listed as a driver on policy) for your vehicle.
• Be capable of adapting to work both indoors and outdoors, regardless of changing weather conditions.
• Have the ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Be able to walk the distance of the property and be exposed to disagreeable odors.
• Have the capability to climb up and down staircases/steps multiple times throughout the evening.
• Own a smartphone with a data plan to utilize our mobile app.
