Job Description

As a Medical Technologist, you will be responsible for performing and interpreting clinical laboratory tests. You will follow protocols to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating illness and disease. Additionally, you will utilize your problem-solving skills to resolve clinical and instrument issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of clinical laboratory tests following established protocols
• Interpret test results and provide accurate information to assist with patient diagnosis and treatment
• Utilize complex problem-solving skills to resolve clinical and instrument issues
• Adhere to OSHA and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe laboratory environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college/university
• Successful completion of a NAACLS accredited Medical Laboratory Scientist program
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a technologist in a clinical laboratory
• ASCP or equivalent categorical/generalist certification
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
