Summary:
Join our team at SYSCO as a Local Delivery Truck Driver with a CDL A license. We have immediate openings for dependable drivers to safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer and transport goods between Sysco facilities and shuttle yards. As a driver, you will also be responsible for unloading/delivering products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer and transport goods between Sysco facility and shuttle yards
- Unload/deliver various products to customer locations on an assigned route
- Adhere to all traffic and safety laws
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
Requirements:
- 21+ years of age
- Must submit to a pre-employment drug screen
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Doubles/Triples Endorsement preferred
- Ability to lift, push, or move products weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and up to 100 pounds occasionally
