Position Summary:

As a Dispatcher in our office and field position, you will be responsible for dispatching drivers in accordance with contract requirements and State and Federal regulations. Your tasks will include coordinating the scheduling of trips from inception to completion, overseeing paratransit, transit, and coach operations. This position also requires the flexibility to carry out diversified duties and work a flexible schedule.

• Dispatch drivers in compliance with contract requirements and regulations
• Coordinate the scheduling of trips from inception to completion

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in a dynamic dispatch environment preferred
• Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid commercial driver’s license with a passenger endorsement or willingness to obtain one
• Satisfactory motor vehicle record, criminal history record, and child abuse history record
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and physical exam certifications
• Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to perform multiple tasks during peak hours and remain calm and supportive of drivers
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Integrity and the ability to handle confidential information
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to troubleshoot, problem solve, and exercise good judgment
• Computer literacy
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
