Summary:

As a CDL A Delivery Driver at US Foods, you will be an important part of our organization and directly impact our customers. Your main responsibilities will include delivering a wide range of food and supplies to our customers' locations, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver customers' orders to meet scheduled delivery times and maintain productivity.
• Unload products with a hand truck and place items in the customer storage area.
• Perform repeated, manual heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds.
• Make frequent stops during a work shift and deliver products in inclement weather conditions.
• Verify delivery of items with customers.
• Collect payment from customers as required.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid U.S. driver's license issued by the state of legal residence with proper endorsements if required.
• Maximum of two traffic violations in the past two years, no DUI convictions in the past three years, and no driver's license suspensions in the past three years.
• Minimum of six months of commercial driving experience or three months of driving experience in the food and beverage delivery industry.
• Must be able to pass DOT physical.
