As a Delivery Truck Driver Trainee, you will learn to safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer, while delivering various products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer and deliver products to customer locations
- Build positive relationships with customers and ensure their needs and expectations are met
- Manually unload and deliver various products, including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies
- Follow assigned route schedule and maintain accurate delivery records
Requirements
- Recent driving school graduates welcome
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- CDL Permit required
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Must be able to lift, push, or move products weighing an average of 40-60 pounds, and up to 100 pounds
- Flexibility to work overtime, occasional weekends, and holidays
- Attend CDL-A training class, which includes time away from home
