As a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver Trainee, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer and manually unloading/delivering various products to our customers. You will build relationships with each customer using your positive and friendly attitude, ensuring their needs and expectations are met. Our comprehensive training program will provide you with the necessary skills to excel in this role.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer in accordance with company policies and DOT regulations
- Deliver a variety of products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule
- Build relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and meeting their needs
- Learn and adhere to proper loading and unloading procedures
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
Requirements
- CDL A license or CDL permit
- 21+ years of age
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Ability to lift, push, or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds, and up to 100 pounds
- Flexibility to work overtime, occasional weekends, and holidays
