Job Summary

As a CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver Trainee, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a tractor-trailer and delivering various products to customer locations. Your duties will include:

• Learning and adhering to all safety procedures and DOT regulations
• Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
• Unloading and delivering products to customer locations
• Building positive relationships with customers
• Ensuring customer satisfaction by meeting their needs and expectations

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Recent driving school graduates welcome
• At least 21 years of age
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Possess a valid CDL permit
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to handle and lift products weighing an average of 40-60 pounds, and up to 100 pounds
• Flexibility to work overtime, occasional weekends, and holidays
• Willingness to attend CDL-A training class, which may require time away from home
