Summary:

SYSCO is looking for dependable CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver Trainees to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn how to safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer, as well as manually unload and deliver various products. You will build strong relationships with our customers, ensuring their satisfaction and meeting their needs and expectations.

Responsibilities:

As a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver Trainee, your responsibilities will include:

• Operating a tractor-trailer for local deliveries
• Safely unloading and delivering various products to customer locations
• Building positive and friendly relationships with customers
• Becoming familiar with customer operations to better serve their needs

Requirements:

To qualify for this position, you should have:

• Recent driving school graduates are welcome
• Must be 21+ years old
• CDL Permit required
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to lift, push, or move products weighing up to 60 pounds
• Flexibility to work overtime and occasional weekends and holidays

We also require all candidates to attend a CDL-A training class, which may require time away from home.
