Job Summary:

SYSCO, the global leader in foodservice distribution, is seeking dependable and motivated individuals to join our team as CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver Trainees in Minnesota. In this role, you will learn to safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer and deliver various products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Building relationships with customers and meeting their needs and expectations are essential aspects of this position.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer to deliver products to customer locations
• Unload and deliver various products, including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies
• Build positive relationships with customers and understand their operations
• Meet delivery schedules and exceed customer expectations

Requirements:

• Recent driving school graduates are welcome
• Minimum age of 21 years
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Possess a CDL Permit
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to lift, push, or move product weighing up to 60 pounds
• Flexibility to work overtime, occasional weekends, and holidays
• Willingness to attend CDL-A training class with time away from home
