Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer, transporting goods between SYSCO facilities and shuttle yards
- As needed, unload and deliver various products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule
- Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
- Collaborate with warehouse and transportation teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Doubles/Triples Endorsement preferred
- Must be able to lift, push, or move products weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and up to 100 pounds occasionally
