Job Summary:
As a CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver at SYSCO, your primary responsibility will be to deliver products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Along with operating a tractor-trailer, you will manually unload products, build relationships with customers, and ensure their needs and expectations are met. You will be an essential part of our team, supporting our mission to provide quality food and exceptional service to our customers.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Recent driving school graduates are welcome
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must have a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) and a clean driving record
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Able to lift, push, or move products weighing an average of 40-60 pounds (up to 100 pounds)
- Flexibility to work overtime, occasional weekends, and holidays
