Job Summary:

As a CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver at SYSCO, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods to our valued customers. Operating a tractor-trailer, you will transport shipments between our facilities and shuttle yards, while also completing other assigned duties. There may be occasions when you will be required to unload and deliver products directly to customer locations along your assigned route schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods
• Shuttle shipments between SYSCO facilities and shuttle yards
• Perform unloading and delivery of products to customer locations as needed
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening
• Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Doubles/Triples Endorsement preferred
• Ability to lift, push, or move products weighing an average of 40-60 pounds, occasionally up to 100 pounds
