Summary:

SYSCO is currently seeking a reliable and experienced CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a tractor-trailer and delivering various products to customer locations. Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer to deliver products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule
• Build positive relationships with customers and meet their needs and expectations
• Unload and deliver various products, including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, and dry goods
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Perform regular vehicle inspections and maintenance

Requirements:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Recent driving school graduates welcome
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Ability to lift, push or move products weighing an average of 40-60 pounds
• Flexibility to work overtime, occasional weekends, and holidays
