Summary:

SYSCO is currently seeking dependable and dedicated individuals for the position of CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver. In this role, you will receive paid training to safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer and deliver various products to customer locations. With a focus on building relationships and meeting customer needs, you will play an integral part in our success as the global leader in foodservice distribution.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer to deliver products to customer locations
• Build positive relationships with customers and understand their needs and expectations
• Unload and deliver a variety of products, including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies
• Follow assigned route schedule
• Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws

Requirements:

• CDL A permit
• 21+ years of age
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to lift, push, or move products weighing up to an average of 40-60 pounds
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends and holidays
