Responsibilities

As a CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver, your responsibilities will include:

• Safely operating a tractor-trailer to deliver a variety of products to customer locations
• Building positive relationships with each customer, ensuring their needs and expectations are met
• Loading and unloading products, including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies
• Following assigned route schedules and meeting delivery deadlines
• Adhering to all safety and traffic regulations

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Recent driving school graduates are welcome
• At least 21 years of age
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Valid CDL A permit
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to lift, push, or move products weighing an average of 40-60 pounds
• Flexibility to work overtime, occasional weekends, and holidays
• Willingness to attend CDL-A training class (includes time away from home)
