Details

As a CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver at SYSCO, your responsibilities will include:

• Safely operating a tractor-trailer to deliver products to customer locations
• Unloading and delivering a variety of products, including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, and dry goods
• Building relationships with customers using a positive and friendly attitude
• Meeting customer needs and expectations by becoming familiar with their operations

Requirements

To qualify for the CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver position, you need to meet the following criteria:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Willingness to handle touch freight, which may require lifting, pushing, or moving products weighing 40-60 pounds, and up to 100 pounds
• Flexibility to work overtime as required, including occasional weekends and holidays
