Summary:

SYSCO, a global leader in foodservice distribution, is seeking dependable individuals to join our team as CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver Trainees. In this role, you will learn to safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer, as well as manually unload and deliver various products to customer locations. Job Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer and navigate assigned routes
• Manually unload and deliver a variety of products, including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, and dry goods
• Build strong relationships with customers and understand their operations to meet needs and expectations

Qualifications:

• Recent driving school graduates welcome
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Possess a valid CDL Permit
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to lift, push, or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds, and up to 100 pounds
• Flexibility to work overtime, occasional weekends, and holidays
• Willingness to attend CDL-A training class, which may require time away from home
