Responsibilities

As a CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver at SYSCO, your main responsibilities will include:

• Safely operating a tractor-trailer to deliver various products, including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, and dry goods, to customer locations on an assigned route schedule
• Building positive relationships with customers and meeting their needs and expectations
• Efficiently unloading and delivering products to customer locations

Qualifications

To qualify for the position of CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver, you should meet the following requirements:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• 21 years of age or older
• Recent driving school graduates are welcome
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Ability to lift, push, or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds
• Flexibility to work overtime, occasional weekends, and holidays
