JOB SUMMARY:

As a CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver Trainee at SYSCO, you will be responsible for delivering various products, including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, and dry goods, to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Building positive relationships with our customers is an important part of the job, as you will become familiar with their operations and strive to meet their needs and expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Recent driving school graduates welcome
• 21+ years of age
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
• CDL Permit required
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Must be able to lift, push, or move products weighing an average of 40-60 pounds, and up to 100 pounds
• Flexibility to work overtime, occasional weekends, and holidays
• Willingness to attend CDL-A training class, which includes time away from home
